Vampire Facelift Treatment
A vampire facelift, also known as a platelet-rich plasma facelift, is a cosmetic procedure that potentially uses the patient’s blood to combat age indications.
After blood is drawn from your arm, the medical professional will separate the platelets from the rest of the blood using a centrifuge (a machine that spins quickly to separate fluids of different densities). The platelet-rich plasma (PRP) will be injected with hyaluronic acid filler, like Juvederm.
Vampire facelifts are safe for people of all ages, but they aren’t recommended if you’re on blood thinners, have skin cancer, or have any other medical problem.
